appointed Ben McKell (pictured above) as its new head of commercial lending, signaling the company\u2019s strong move into the commercial lending sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>McKell to drive growth in commercial lending sector<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In his new role, McKell will report to Chris Meaker, Brighten\u2019s director and head of distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meaker said that McKell\u2019s expertise will help accelerate the company\u2019s growth in the commercial lending space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith Ben\u2019s expertise and our deep understanding of our brokers, we\u2019re confident that our solutions-based offering can meet the evolving needs of both brokers and customers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Innovative solutions for brokers<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brokernews.com.au\/news\/breaking-news\/brighten-partners-with-quickli-for-enhanced-broker-support-284207.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brighten<\/a>\u2019s expanding product suite for commercial loans includes Full Doc, Alt Doc, Lease Doc, and Brighten Lift, a short-term commercial loan product designed to offer accessible options for businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re committed to simplifying the commercial loan process for brokers and providing education to help them diversify into this sector,\u201d Meaker said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>McKell brings extensive experience<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>McKell brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial and business banking to his new role, having held senior positions at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brokernews.com.au\/tools\/company\/pepper-money\/121330\/\">Pepper Money<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brokernews.com.au\/tools\/company\/westpac\/281265\/\">Westpac<\/a>, and Commonwealth Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be part of the journey to bring that same
