New product expands access to underserved lending markets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aggregator Connective<\/a> Home Loans has partnered with non-bank lender Brighten to launch Connective<\/a> Horizon, a white label mortgage product aimed at borrowers underserved by traditional lenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The product targets lending scenarios such as expat and non-resident borrowers, commercial securities, construction, and vacant land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks the seventh white label product in Connective\u2019s portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cConnective is all about giving our brokers the products and support they need to succeed,\u201d said Michael Goerner (pictured upper left), head of Connective Home Loans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cConnective Horizon isn\u2019t just another loan product. It\u2019s a response to the demand from brokers for lending solutions they\u2019ve struggled to access until now \u2013 like expat lending, non-resident borrowers, and specialised commercial securities. We\u2019ve added this solution to help brokers diversify and grow their business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Non-bank lending gains traction among brokers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The release follows increasing broker interest in alternative lending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Non-bank lenders are gaining prominence in 2025, driven by tighter serviceability assessments, increased refinancing activity, and the need for flexible lending solutions. They are expanding their market share, particularly in segments like self-employed, bridging, and SMSF<\/a> loans, where traditional banks have become more cautious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Connective, non-standard loans now make up 15% of all new broker transactions \u2013 up from 8% two years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
