So we\u2019ve made the process as easy as possible by removing the barriers for brokers and borrowers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cUnlike some competitors, we accept individual as well as corporate Trustees, with no minimum asset test or liquidity requirements.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Growing market<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The non-bank lender noted the changing landscape of Australia\u2019s SMSF landscape; in the June 2025 quarter, those aged 35\u201344 accounted for 37 per cent of new SMSF entrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chris Meaker, Brighten\u2019s head of sales and distribution, said the new products reflected the changing nature of the SMSF market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSMSF investors are increasingly growing their interest in commercial property, as they seek stability and yield as part of their SMSF investment mix,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBrighten Super Star\u00ae provides flexible SMSF lending solutions for customers and brokers with seamless online applications and approval processes via NextGen\u2019s ApplyOnline\u00ae.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Broker opportunity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking to The Adviser, Azzopardi said brokers were especially well-suited to servicing SMSF investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBrokers sit at the intersection of strategy, structure and service, exactly what SMSF investors need. SMSF lending involves multiple moving parts,\u201d Azzopardi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA good broker can translate the complexity of SMSFs into clear pathways, compare lender appetites, and coordinate specialists so clients stay compliant and on track.
