Chris has over 21 years of experience in the finance industry with a focus on lending, business development and sales management.
Prior to joining Brighten, he worked for La Trobe Financial, where he was an executive general manager and head of origination channels. Previously, he worked for Pepper Financial Services Group as state manager and senior business development manager.
Chris holds a diploma of finance and mortgage broking.
Jimmy has over 12 years’ experience in Banking and Finance.
Prior to joining Brighten, Jimmy worked for BC Securities as a Relationship Manager working directly with consumers in their direct channel. Jimmy started his career with Standard Chartered Bank then moved into Mortgage Broking before working for the NAB in Credit Assessment. Jimmy has a proven track record of delivery across customer service, credit risk and assessment, and relationship management.
Jimmy holds a Master’s Degree in Science from the University of Bridgeport in the USA, as well as a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Toyama University in Japan and a Cert IV in Mortgage Broking and Finance.
Kay has over 11 years’ experience in the Finance Services industry.
Prior to joining Brighten, Kay worked for St.George Bank as a Mobile Lending Manager. Prior to that, she worked for NAB as a Home Lending Specialist. Previously, she worked for Linc at Law as a Conveyancing Paralegal, mainly responsible for Settlement. Kay is also a fully licensed conveyancer in New South Wales.
Kay holds a Master of Commerce – Double Major in Finance and Banking from the University of Sydney.
Lewis has over 9 years of experience in the financial services industry across several roles.
Prior to joining Brighten, he worked for Commonwealth Bank as a Relationship Manager. Previously, he started off working as a mortgage broker for three years.
Lewis holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.
With over a decade of experience in the banking and finance industry, Prashanth has built his career supporting brokers and lending professionals through a combination of credit expertise and business development. He has held key roles at major institutions including Macquarie Bank and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) in credit management and later transitioned to a Business Development Manager role at AFG.
Prashanth’s strong background in credit gives him a unique perspective when assessing scenarios, allowing him to provide practical coaching, strategic guidance, and support to brokers navigating complex lending environments. Prashanth is passionate about enabling brokers to succeed by combining deep industry knowledge with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
Nicole has over 24 years of experience in financial services, with an extensive background as both a BDM and credit manager for broker introduced business.
Prior to joining Brighten, she worked for AMP Bank as a Business Development Manager. Previously, she worked for Pepper Money. Nicole holds a Cert 4 and Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking.
With more than 15 years of experience across the finance industry, Nicole brings in-depth experience and a thorough understanding of the lending landscape to her role as Senior Business Development Manager at Brighten. With experience across various roles at a major lender, she brings a complete and practical perspective to the lending journey.
Before joining Brighten, Nicole served as a BDM at AFG, where she supported brokers throughout Victoria and Queensland. She played a key role in helping brokers navigate the intricacies of residential and commercial lending across a broad panel of lenders, earning a reputation as a trusted and knowledgeable partner.
Wendy has over 20 years’ experience in the mortgage & finance industry.
Prior to joining Brighten, she worked for Infinity Group Australia as a Personal Banker.
Previously, Wendy worked for Mortgage Ezy in Operations. Prior to that, she worked for Better Choice Home Loans as a Business Development Manager.
Wendy holds a Certificate III in Business, Office Administration.
Scott has 17 years of industry experience working in Finance, including working for AFG and multiple Big 4 lenders – with a focus on Residential & Commercial Lending, Business Development and supporting Brokers to grow their businesses.
Prior to joining Brighten Home Loans, Scott was the Business Relationship Manager for AFG Home Loans in WA – looking after multiple Residential Non-Bank products including the Brighten offering, along with supporting the White Label Commercial offerings.
Scott has also won The Adviser’s, Better Business Awards – Best Lender BDM (Non-Bank) 2024 WA award.
